Important Purchase Notice
HandyDob6 units sold on or after April 1, 2026 already include the upgraded focuser bracket and brace. If you purchased a HandyDob6 on or after this date, you do not need this upgrade kit.

This kit is intended only for customers who purchased an earlier HandyDob6 model before the updated parts were included. It is available in limited quantities. Once we determine that earlier HandyDob6 owners have had sufficient opportunity to purchase this kit, we plan to discontinue sales of this item.

• For Earlier HandyDob6 Models – Upgrade earlier HandyDob6 units that were originally supplied with the standard 1.25-inch focuser configuration.
• Supports 2-Inch Filter Mounting – Adds support for attaching compatible 2-inch filters to the HandyDob6 focuser assembly while keeping the original 1.25-inch focuser system.
• Updated Focuser Support Parts – Includes the improved focuser bracket and focuser brace components used on the newer HandyDob6 design.
• Recent HandyDob6 Owners Do Not Need This Kit – This upgrade is intended only for earlier HandyDob6 units that do not already have the updated bracket and brace installed.
• Compatibility Notice – This kit does not convert HandyDob6 into a 2-inch focuser telescope and is not designed for 2-inch eyepieces. Telescope, eyepiece, and filter are not included.
